India’s News.Net reported that internationally acclaimed media personality Dr. Sandeep Marwah was honoured with the Jewel of Bharat Award by the Brahma Kumaris at Mount Abu on November 3, 2026. The recognition came for his significant contributions to art, culture, education and the media sector, including setting 13 world records in these fields. Rajyogini B. K. Mohini Didi, a senior leader of the Brahma Kumaris, presented the award and extended blessings to Marwah for his dedication to societal service through these domains. The ceremony attracted an audience of more than 8,000 devotees and organisation members hailing from across India and foreign countries.
The event also saw the participation of Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who lauded Marwah’s work in cultural diplomacy. According to India’s News.Net, Marwah has gained international acclaim through his leadership of Marwah Studios, the Asian Academy of Film and Television, Noida Film City and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. These platforms have focused on nurturing young talent and advancing the Indian creative sector while promoting global friendships via artistic endeavours.
Dr. Marwah expressed his thanks during the occasion. “I am deeply honoured to receive the ‘Jewel of Bharat’ Award from the Brahma Kumaris at this sacred place of Mount Abu. The blessings of Rajyogini B. K. Mohini Didi and the presence of the Hon’ble Union Minister for Culture and Tourism make this moment exceptionally meaningful for me. I dedicate this honour to all those who believe in the power of art, culture, education, and media to transform society,” he said, as quoted by India’s News.Net. He added that his journey follows the philosophy of love, peace and unity through art and culture, viewing the records as collective achievements.
A report by The Tribune detailed that this latest accolade follows an international honour Dr. Marwah received in Milan, Italy, last month for the same 13 world records and his contributions to cultural diplomacy. In Milan, the recognition was presented at the Hilton Hotel in the presence of local dignitaries and highlighted his role as chair of the Indo-Italian Film and Cultural Forum. That honour underscored the potential for stronger creative partnerships between India and Italy based on their shared artistic heritage.
The Brahma Kumaris organisation, known for its spiritual teachings and global peace initiatives, selected Marwah for the Jewel of Bharat distinction at its headquarters in the hill station of Mount Abu. This location holds particular significance for the group as a centre for meditation and spiritual learning. The award aligns with broader efforts to celebrate individuals advancing cultural values and national heritage.
Marwah’s 13 world records span various aspects of media, film festivals and educational initiatives in the creative fields. Through his institutions, he has facilitated the screening of thousands of short films by debut directors from more than 100 countries. His work continues to emphasise education as a tool for international cooperation and societal transformation.
