The Hanwha Foundation of Culture has opened an exhibition titled AS_____AS POSSIBLE at Centre Pompidou Hanwha that continues through November 13. A foundation announcement stated that the display is free to the public and occupies the ground and first floors of the Seoul venue. According to a Yonhap News Agency report, the project examines how artificial intelligence systems operate internally and how they can be guided to reflect human values. The exhibition draws its title from open-ended phrasing that invites multiple interpretations about the objectives and benchmarks of technology.

Five Korean artist teams created the featured works after receiving support from both organizations, the foundation reported. Participants are MinOhrichar, Inhwa Yeom, Ubac Studio, Kahee JEONG and Chu Mirim, all of whom engaged with themes of interpretability, the effort to comprehend AI decision processes, and alignment, the effort to harmonize AI outputs with human priorities. The resulting artworks appear in media that include video, installation, sound, performance, extended reality and interactive formats. These pieces translate technical AI concepts into artistic experiences open to broad audiences.

Anthropic funded production of the new artworks and gave the artists access to its Claude model to aid their creative development, according to the Hanwha Foundation of Culture. The foundation noted that this marks the first such collaboration between Anthropic and a Korean arts institution, although the company has previously partnered with art and design programs at the Rhode Island School of Design and Goldsmiths, University of London. A company announcement described similar initiatives as integrating AI tools into creative software environments used by professionals at organizations including Adobe and Ableton.

Lee Sung-soo, chairman of the Hanwha Foundation of Culture, said the collaboration with Anthropic would explore new possibilities at the intersection of art and technology. The foundation has maintained a pattern of supporting contemporary projects that connect artistic practice with current technological and social questions. Its November 2025 launch of the nonprofit Space ZeroOne venue in New York presented works by emerging Korean artists addressing technology, materiality and cultural identity, earlier foundation statements indicated.

In September 2026 the foundation staged its first garden project at the same Centre Pompidou Hanwha site, installing sculptures that interact with plants, weather and the surrounding urban landscape over time. That outdoor display featured three Korean women artists from different generations whose works considered relationships between nature, the body, time and material, according to project documentation released by the foundation. The current AI-focused exhibition extends this emphasis on interdisciplinary inquiry into areas where artistic perspectives can illuminate otherwise abstract scientific and ethical debates.

Organizers have scheduled the exhibition to remain accessible during standard museum hours, excluding Mondays, with no special evening extensions for this run. The foundation’s materials emphasize that the commissioned works go beyond simply employing AI as a tool by critically addressing the philosophical questions the technology provokes. Coverage in Korean media including the Herald Business has drawn attention to the project’s role in fostering dialogue between the technology sector and the visual arts community.
